RIP Malcolm Young

Saturday, another Classic Rock Legend passed on.  Malcolm Young, AC/DC guitarist and co-founder died at the age of 64.

I remember seeing AC/DC Reunion Arena in 1991… and I thought I would see them again and again. But I never found the time to see them. Part of me thought I saw them at their best and seeing them recently would take that moment when I was 21 and tarnish that great memory.  The energy brought through that show, from the first notes of Thunderstruck to the final one of For Those About To Rock, still echoes in my mind.

Each day we lose people that have meaning in our lives and it took me a couple of days to comprehend the loss.  Yes, Malcolm had been suffering from dementia and I don’t wish suffering on anyone, I hope Malcolm rocks the Highway To Hell all the way to heaven .

I salute you Malcolm.
