GIVE THE GIFT OF LIFE!
ROCK-101, the BEAT-104.9 and United Blood Services are asking all available donors to give the gift of life.
Leading up to July 4th, it is very important for our community to have an adequate blood supply and Rock 101.1 wants you to joinus with the 2010 Freedom Blood Drive.
Every donor who comes to the blood donation center to cool off and save lives will receive a special patriotic T-shirt and a coupon for their choice of an appetizer or dessert courtesy of Carino’s Italian. Donors will also be registered for some great prizes. Every day a dinner for two at Carino’s and $30 worth of Tinseltown movie money will be given away. All donors will also be registered to win a grand prize of an Apple iPod touch.
The Freedom Blood Drive will take place from Monday, June 28th through Saturday, July 3rd at the blood donation center and at selected mobile locations. The center hours for this drive will be 11 am until 7 pm Monday through Friday and 9 am through 2 pm on Saturday.
Blood donor requirements are simple. They must be at least 16 years of age, be in good health, and have valid picture identification.
Our goal is 320 units, one more than last year and with your help we can do it...
The blood donor center is located at 48th and University.
