Tell your mark that you can remove only 8 cards from a 52 card deck (no jokers wild folks) and that they can't make a legal 5 card straight.
Then remove the 5's and 10's from the deck and collect your winnings.

I loved the old Jolt cola. I knew someone in high school who drank a 6 pack of it and then spent 3 days up cleaning and doing anything she possibly could until she finally passed out for 48 hours.
Alas RIP Jolt.
As well as many of these other dead colas , sodas, pops, whatever you wanna call them.

Back from vacation and the link of the day actually is an advance link for the 14th. The scientists who helped to create the nuclear bomb created "The Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists." The Bulletin's board of directors then in 1947 came up with the idea of a Doomsday Clock to symbolize these threats. The message is that humans are "a few minutes to midnight," where midnight represents destruction by nuclear weapons, climate change and emerging technologies in the life sciences.
Well the Scientists are coming up with a new update on Thursday at 9 A CT. What will they do? The most the Doomsday clock has been set back to was 14 min to doomsday in 1995. The closest was in 1953, when the clock was changed to two minutes to midnight after the United States and the Soviet Union each tested nikes within a year of one another. Scary thoughts...

Two bank robbers have been declared winners of the 2009 Darwin Awards after they blew themselves up while trying to crack open a cash machine.
The Belgian pair used so much explosive to get their hands on the money that they destroyed the whole bank building.
When police arrived at the scene, they found one of them with severe head injuries, and rushed him to hospital where he died shortly after arrival.
Investigators initially assumed that his accomplice had managed a getaway, but the second one's body was excavated from the debris twelve hours later.
Wendy Northcutt, the founder of the annual awards, declared them the 2009 winners of the Darwin Awards, given to those "doing the most to improve the human gene pool by removing themselves from it".
The Bowl will now be sponsored by the American Trial Lawyers Association and will re named the Plaintiff Bowl
Bowl spokesman Biff Roberts said “We’re really excited about this tie in, and the name change reflects our genuine care and concern for those who have been dissed by ‘the man’. We're looking forward to a great game in the Plaintiff Bowl."

1 Sad, 1 Mad , and 1 Glad
Sad:
I know deadlines... I know reporting is important, but (JUST my feelings, not those of anyone here or our advertisers), take a look of this video. This is from the accident that happened last night as they were setting up for Monday Night Football at Qualcomm stadium. A worker falls and dies. At the 24 second mark, a member of the media (in blue hat) takes a photo of the scene below.
So I had to find something that would make me feel less scummy.
And as a continuing series... my wedding photos won't look like this:

We are just about two weeks from Halloween and I know you are having issues on what to be for Halloween.
