Who am I?

I came to Lubbock back in 1992 to go to Texas Tech and bounced from English to Business to Mass Communications.

I found KTXT one morning at 2 A.M. due to a floor mate and I was hooked again. 

I've been at Rock 101.1 since we kicked it open November of 1999 and be here for a while.

I updated my photo... just because!

Favorite band/artist: Dire Straits / Mark Knopfler.

Favorite Sport: College Football followed by NFL Football, baseball is a close third.

What would your last meal be?: Crabs & Lobster served by the Deadliest Catch Northwestern crew.

Favorite experience at Rock 101.1 ?  We gave away $250 to a random caller.  I thought it would be just a typical listener story, but the thing is when they came to pick up the check, the winner had recently been laid off. He was moving back his family, to live with his parents back in the metroplex.  He didn't know how he was going to afford the gas to move his family back. Then he called in and won.

What is your most memorable experience in Radio?: I also work with the Children's Miracle Network Radiothon and we have won several awards for our charity work.  It's the greatest feeling to give to others and know that you have made a difference.

What has been your greatest life experience?: The birth of my son Ryan and daughter Shelby. No doubt about it.

If you could take a vacation anywhere in the world. Where would you go?: Back to Ireland for a couple of weeks.

If there is something that you still want to accomplish in radio?  Welcoming Led Zeppelin to the United Spirit Arena.  What? Too high?
