If you are a Texas Tech fan looking for any optimism after last years season, good luck.
Oklahoma hired Lincoln Riley, the former Red Raider Assistant that has OU rising. OU hired today former Texas Tech Defensive Coach Ruffin McNeil.

Take a breath. Think about this.
Get angry because everyone else is having a great laugh at our expense…
Between Riley, McNeill, and Baker Mayfield, OU is seeing fantastic returns out of their farm system in Lubbock. https://t.co/XnX0piLe8y

Kingsbury was given another year to hang himself by Kirby Hocutt and if Las Vegas is correct, he will.
Ruff was never given the chance to coach the Red Raiders, and it was a damn shame. He’s gone first to enjoy his time at East Carolina where he nurtured a young OC by the name of Lincoln Riley. After he left East Carolina he caught on at Virginia where he still is loved.
Today he is at Oklahoma and Red Raider fans should be mad. Former Texas Tech Quarterback, leading a team coached by a former Red Raider Assistant Coach and a former Red Raider Defensive Coordinator. It’s another kick to the nuts.
Think about this. Maybe the problem at Texas Tech Athletics isn’t the coaches or the players?
