The last couple of weeks I've watched my grass grow exponentially after the recent rains, that we've been praying for, drenched my yard.

Usually my grass is greenish brown. I don't have a sprinkler system and I either water it or I forget and it starts to die. I never said I had a green thumb. But I awoke this morning with a sticky note attached to my forehead courtesy of my wife.

"MOW THE YARD!"

I guess she is angry at the 7-8" of grass that have been too wet to mow the last couple of weeks. But there are no excuses for me. The weather looks hot & dry for the next week and she has brought gas for the mower and put a ribbon on it, to make it seem new and exciting for me.

Guess I know what I am doing after work...
