...into the White Castle hall of fame

The Columbus Dispatch reports:
If there's anything Alice Cooper loves, it's eyeliner. A close second for the 66-year-old musician are burgers that are about half the size of regular burgers, the kind that many call sliders. So it was an honor for Cooper when he was inducted into White Castle's Craver Hall of Fame on Monday.

a crowd of 250 watched as Cooper shared stories of his first experiences with the tiny burgers during a ceremony at the White Castle headquarters in Columbus, Ohio.

Cooper then pitched the idea that there should be White Castle aftershave, which further proves that he was given this honor for a very valid reason.

Deadspin is reporting: "Mick Jagger has had a run of unwitting World Cup predictions as good as any octopus—only Mick's endorsement is to be avoided at all costs. Anyone he supports, loses. He was in Brazil's corner today, naturally.

Jagger's performance at the 2010 World Cup was legendary. He sat in a box with Bill Clinton for USA-Ghana, only to see the U.S. lose 2-1. The next day he attended England-Germany,wearing an England scarf; England lost. He capped it off by watching Brazil-Netherland in the quarterfinal, alongside his son clad in a Brazil shirt. The Dutch won. He picked Argentina to win it all days before they were knocked out by Germany 4-0.

So far this year, Jagger has stayed away from matches, but his influence has been felt. At a show in Lisbon in May, he tapped Portugal as his tournament favorite and England as runners-up; neither made it past the group stage. After the tournament's start, he predicted, in turn,England and Italy wins over Uruguay; Uruguay won both, and England and Italy missed out on the knockout round.

So it's no surprise that Brazilian fans had begged Jagger and his pe frio—"cold foot"—to stay away from the Seleção. One fan even showed up to today's match with a cardboard cutout of Mick in a Germany kit."

Yankees fan caught sleeping on TV sues ESPN, MLB for $10 million

According to the New York Post: A New York man who was caught sleeping at a recent Yankees game against the Red Sox on ESPN is filing a $10 million defamation suit against broadcasters Dan Shulman and John Kruk for their "avalanche of disparaging words,"

Andrew Robert Rector admitted that he "briefly slept" while attending the April 13 game between A.L. East rivals, and when ESPN cameras caught him sleeping during the fourth inning, the Sunday Night Baseball announcers launched into what he described as an "unending verbal crusade" against him, with their "vituperative utterances" redistributed on the MLB website the following day.

According to the report, Rector's suit was riddled with typos and improper grammar, claiming the broadcasters insinuated that he "is a fatty cow that need two seats at a time" and "is a confused individual that neither understands nor knows anything about history or the meaning of rivalry between Red Sox and Yankees."

If he thought that was insulting, it's a good thing he didn't try to eat a chili dog!

According to TMZ, Two unoccupied tour buses caught fire shortly after noon near Penn's Landing PA, fire officials said.

The buses were hired to transport crew supporting the classic rock bands Styx and Foreigner.

No injuries were reported at the scene, a parking lot on the 100 block of Callowhill Street. Officials had no immediate explanation of what caused the adjacent blazes.

The fires were reported at 12:24 p.m. and placed under control less than 20 minutes later, a spokeswoman said.

Just too Hot Blooded I guess!
